This year, SORINT Group achieved a significant milestone by installing 2 new photovoltaic systems in Bergamo HQ and Milan (Cinisello) premises. This commitment to renewable energy showcases our dedication to sustainability, society, and the well-being of our planet. It marks a progressive stride toward a greener future, highlighting the dedication to our environmental responsibility.
“Welcome” Prize
The UNHCR “United Nations High Commissioner’s Office” awarded SORINT.lab the “Welcome 2022” prize for participating and collaborating in a refugee integration program. The program aimed to integrate refugees in the labour market. In which 9.3K refugees were impacted and placed in the work market. A renewal to our ongoing commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. We welcome everyone.
Every year we try to support different projects that operate ethically and we pay close attention to the impact of our actions on the environment. In 2023 we created the “SORINT. lab GARDEN”, adopting an olive tree garden in Salento, thus contributing to the reforestation of the area hit hard by the spread of Xylella. Thanks to a partnership with OlivaMi’s and their initiatives in the territory.
Started by one SORINTian from our office in Bologna. Ended up with SORINT.lab partnering with “Ebikeme” to provide an ebike to each SORINTian. SORINT.lab covered a portion of the cost, while SORINTians get to enjoy some physical activity time causing zero emissions. Just like our colleague in Bologna wanted.
No Plastic
An internal eco-friendly initiative was introduced to all SORINTians, aiming to minimize plastic waste. SORINT.lab spearheaded multiple activities this month, encouraging widespread participation not only among SORINTians but also involving their families and friends.
Partnering with Rifò Italy, SORINT.lab launched an initiative encouraging SORINTians to recycle old jeans in exchange of vouchers redeemable at Rifò stores. The objective was to repurpose the fabric for crafting new jeans, an impactful way to promote recycling. This collective effort stands as a small but significant gesture from the entire SORINT.lab’s community and our partner.
