This year, SORINT Group achieved a significant milestone by installing 2 new photovoltaic systems in Bergamo HQ and Milan (Cinisello) premises. This commitment to renewable energy showcases our dedication to sustainability, society, and the well-being of our planet. It marks a progressive stride toward a greener future, highlighting the dedication to our environmental responsibility to further reduce our environmental impact, we have decided to adopt the exclusive use of recycled paper in our company. A small gesture for us, but a big contribution for the planet.
“Welcome” Prize
The UNHCR “United Nations High Commissioner’s Office” awarded SORINT.lab the “Welcome 2022” prize for participating and collaborating in a refugee integration program. The program aimed to integrate refugees in the labour market. In which 9.3K refugees were impacted and placed in the work market. A renewal to our ongoing commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. We welcome everyone.
Every year we try to support different projects that operate ethically and we pay close attention to the impact of our actions on the environment. In 2023 we created the “SORINT. lab GARDEN”, adopting an olive tree garden in Salento, thus contributing to the reforestation of the area hit hard by the spread of Xylella. Thanks to a partnership with OlivaMi’s and their initiatives in the territory.
Started by one SORINTian from our office in Bologna. Ended up with SORINT.lab partnering with “Ebikeme” to provide an ebike to each SORINTian. SORINT.lab covered a portion of the cost, while SORINTians get to enjoy some physical activity time causing zero emissions. Just like our colleague in Bologna wanted.
No Plastic
An internal eco-friendly initiative was introduced to all SORINTians, aiming to minimize plastic waste. SORINT.lab spearheaded multiple activities this month, encouraging widespread participation not only among SORINTians but also involving their families and friends.For years, SORINT4Good has been collecting plastic and cork to support local Bergamo associations. A simple gesture that helps finance solidarity projects and make our community more sustainable and inclusive.
Partnering with Rifò Italy, SORINT.lab launched an initiative encouraging SORINTians to recycle old jeans in exchange of vouchers redeemable at Rifò stores. The objective was to repurpose the fabric for crafting new jeans, an impactful way to promote recycling. This collective effort stands as a small but significant gesture from the entire SORINT.lab’s community and our partner.
2023 Turkey-Syria Earthquakes
SORINTians responded wholeheartedly and promptly to the initiative led by the SORINT Group. Contributing to three associations: “Terre des hommes foundation,” “Emergency & Support,” and “Support Child.” The donations aimed to provide essential aid and support to those affected by the crises in Turkey and Syria. Demonstrating remarkable solidarity during these challenging times.
Emergency Friends – Sudan
Through “Emergency ONG Onlus”, SORINTians have generously donated days off, bonuses, and wages to support the people in Sudan. The initiative aimed to send humanitarian provisioning to hospitals. SORINTians were later awarded the esteemed “Emergency Friends” as a recognition from the association for the dedication and assistance.

Did you know that there is an apiary in SORINT’s garden? In partnership with apicolturaurbana.it, we are committed to protecting biodiversity and supporting the environment. Despite difficult weather conditions last spring, our bees produced high quality honey. Today we host 15K bees and aim to reach 60K by next spring! A small gesture for us, a big contribution for nature.

On the occasion of the Easter holidays, in 2024 we chose to support Emergency NGO Onlus (Non Profit Organization), buying Colombe di Pasqua (Typical Italian Easter cake) and Easter chocolate eggs from their shop to provide support for the thousands of victims of war and poverty housed in their hospitals in Italy and around the world.

For Christmas, SORINT chose to make a gesture of solidarity, purchasing panettone cakes from various humanitarian associations. We supported the Bergamo-based association Autismo è, which supports autistic people and their families, and INTERSOS, which intervenes in crisis situations. We also launched an internal fundraiser for TERRE DES HOMMES, which protects children from violence and abuse, allowing SORINTians to choose and buy products from a selected catalogue to contribute directly to these causes.

As a sign of gratitude to our customers, we have decided to make a donation to EMERGENCY, a symbolic gift that we hope will be appreciated as a demonstration of our commitment to those most in need. This donation has enabled us to be recognised as EMERGENCY FRIEND 2025, reflecting our concrete commitment to making a positive impact on society and people.
Sponsoring sports activities: Bergamo Tuffi
In SORINT.lab, we believe in the balance between mind and body. Therefore, we actively support sports activities and collaborate with local entities. This year, we were sponsors of the Bergamo Tuffi (diving) teams for the 2023-2024 Winter Absolute Championships, with young athletes achieving extraordinary results, coming in first and second places in different disciplines.
