The approach was based on a methodical and in-depth analysis. The team conducted a detailed assessment of the existing infrastructure and its associated costs. The goal was to deliver comprehensive documentation to evaluate the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of a potential hardware refresh versus a cloud migration project. The study also included selecting a suitable cloud provider, which ultimately led to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The final report revealed that this solution would cut licensing costs by half compared to other providers while offering essential network services—such as VPNs and outbound Internet traffic—at no additional cost. A fundamental component of AmedeA’s infrastructure architecture.
