This year, SORINT Group achieved a significant milestone by installing 2 new photovoltaic systems in Bergamo HQ and Milan (Cinisello) premises. This commitment to renewable energy showcases our dedication to sustainability, society, and the well-being of our planet. It marks a progressive stride toward a greener future, highlighting the dedication to our environmental responsibility to further reduce our environmental impact, we have decided to adopt the exclusive use of recycled paper in our company. A small gesture for us, but a big contribution for the planet.
“Welcome” Prize
The UNHCR “United Nations High Commissioner’s Office” awarded SORINT.lab the “Welcome 2022” prize for participating and collaborating in a refugee integration program. The program aimed to integrate refugees in the labour market. In which 9.3K refugees were impacted and placed in the work market. A renewal to our ongoing commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. We welcome everyone.
Every year we try to support different projects that operate ethically and we pay close attention to the impact of our actions on the environment. In 2023 we created the “SORINT. lab GARDEN”, adopting an olive tree garden in Salento, thus contributing to the reforestation of the area hit hard by the spread of Xylella. Thanks to a partnership with OlivaMi’s and their initiatives in the territory.
IT4Good
For an IT company like ours, the sustainable management of PCs, monitors, and corporate phones is essential. Every year, we responsibly dispose of PCs, monitors, and phones, following strict regulations. When possible, we repair and reuse devices, replacing only non-functioning components to extend their lifecycle. Through the SORINT4good project, we donate functional devices to communities and organizations without access to new technologies.
SORINT Welfare Corner & FOORBAN
Training, healthcare, flexible hours, and distributed work are just some of the initiatives we implement to meet the real needs of those who contribute to our growth every day. Today, we add a new element: new agreements with organizations and companies from various sectors, offering even more benefits and perks related to hobbies, leisure, and daily life.
Lunch break becomes smart! Since October, thanks to the collaboration with Foorban, all SORINTians can use a smart fridge in our cafeteria. Always varied, healthy, and sustainable meals, designed to make every break easier, more enjoyable, and waste-free.
SORINT X SBTi
Did you know that there is an apiary in SORINT’s garden? In partnership with apicolturaurbana.it, we are committed to protecting biodiversity and supporting the environment. Despite difficult weather conditions last spring, our bees produced high quality honey. Today we host 15K bees and aim to reach 60K by next spring! A small gesture for us, a big contribution for nature.

We have started defining our near-term goals, validated by the SBTi, to halve direct and indirect emissions by 2030.
Making our targets public means transparency and accountability. Clients, suppliers, and SORINTians can follow our progress, support daily decisions, and contribute together. Because only by acting together can we achieve a real global impact.

The Science Based Targets initiative helps companies set science-based emission reduction targets, aligned with the Paris Agreement, to limit global warming to 1.5°C.
